There’s a certain stigma around charities being behind when it comes to technology. In truth, our hiring process in the past only reinforced this. Our goal was to not only improve our hiring process, but change how our candidates thought of us as a company as a whole.
Picked is now the first contact our candidates have with our company after their application. Our goal was to deliver a slick, streamlined experience that demonstrated our company in the best possible light, and made us stand out from all the other companies they were applying for at the same time.
Candidate sentiment is much more positive
We collect feedback from all candidates after the hiring process and we’re delighted to say, it is now more positive than ever before. Old gripes of things being poorly organised and really slow have been completely replaced.
We now use the automated features to ensure candidates get everything they need when they need it which has allowed our time-to-hire to be greatly reduced. On top of this, it makes it easier for the candidates and turns what can be a very stressful process into something as painless as possible for them.
