    As well as giving employers a clearer understanding of the person behind each application, a personality test helps them to decide whether an individual is a good fit for the role, team, and company they're applying to.

  • What is the format of a personality test?

    Although there are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers, there are answers that an employer will be more drawn to, depending on what type of individual they're hoping to hire. Personality tests are still timed as it's important that candidates answer instinctively, rather than as they'd imagine an employer would want them to.

  • Which skills are tested on the personality test?

    The personality test examines a wide range of values, skills, traits and competencies. While the test itself shows an employer how capable an individual is of working under time pressure.

Are the tests difficult?

The test isn't difficult as it's designed to assess how someone really thinks, feels and acts. But it can feel challenging to answer the questions under the time constraints. There is just one level of personality test that can be used for all sorts of different job roles at different levels.

How long does the personality test last?

Normally, candidates will have 15-20 minutes to work through the questions on the personality test.

Are these tests available in my plan?

Yes! Whichever plan you select, you'll be able to see the full range of test levels. The only difference between the plans is the amount of tests you're permitted to attempt.

Can I see what the test is like?

All you need to do is click the 'view example' button to get a preview of a test. You'll be able to see a mix of foundation and advanced level questions so you get a flavour of what candidates can expect on both tests.
